Should America be the Low Cost Provider of Science?

Check out this great post by David Sirota on Corporate America's education with additional commentary by our favorite science talking guy, Kelley B.

Education is Ignorance and other Corporate Truthiness

Hiya, Spocko!

Thank you for posting this. I had thought most of those things, but not all at once and not nearly as articulately. And I got a new word, "truthiness."

PS. My friends are already picking up "The stupid, it burns!" from me (I frequently appropriate a good word or a well turned phrase). Nicely done.

Hi Coho. I do wish I could claim credit for your new vocabulary, but I believe in giving credit to the masters.

Truthiness is from The Colbert Report

The Stupid, it burns I first heard from Athenea over at First Draft. And of course David Sarota and Kelley B. are articulate thoughtful folks.
I love reading stuff that gives me a better way to understand the world and when I find those I like to share.
LLAP,
Spocko

Sure you are. I've read your stuff and I'm honored to have a real science talking guy as a reader!
